The room I had was a stark throwback to the 1970s, complete with outdated furniture and signs of poor maintenance, including peeling wallpaper and a musty smell. The air conditioning didn’t work, and carpets were stained, not to mention the weak Wi-Fi signal that made it difficult to stay connected. Additionally, I encountered disruptive noise from a high school field trip staying on the same floor, making sleep a challenge.
